I've taken a number of sunrise shots over the beaches of the Illawarra this year, though not all have been posted or even selected for posting amongst other shots of that day. On this particular morning I decided to do something a little different; whack on the macro lens and zoom in to some of the plant life that manages to make a living for itself amongst the sand grains of the foreshore.

I still couldn't give up that early sunrise light colour, though.
