Another hot summer's day. The afternoon light makes the sky a relentless blue, and puts a harsh cast on the peeling paint of the platform roofing. I thought that the strong rectilinears[1] and harsh shadows served to emphasise the effect; there's not a thing about this image that is soft, and the same is true of the heat of that day.
