My posting of PADs has been erratic of late and I have missed a couple of days already, which is unknown for a January. The cause is having too many commitments and too little time, and something had to give. I've therefore decided to PAD when I can but not less than 4 days per week until I get on top of things, mainly because on the first day that I missed I was almost at the point of saying "Eh, whatever" and shooting something for the sake of it.

Such things seldom auger well for good photography, so instead I'm just trying to apportion my time until I get on top of things, hopefully avoiding burnout in the procezzzzzzzzzzz....zzzzzzz... {Schnork} Mmmpf? Oh, you're here. Sorry, what was I just saying?

Oh, the PADs, yeah, right. That doesn't mean that I'll "go for gold" with every shot and I'll still use ones that drop into my lap occasionally.

On this particular Monday a deadline was looming and rather than go into work to use the sub-standard computers there I opted to stay home and work off line on my own vastly more powerful home built computer. This had the concomitant benefit of fewer interruptions since the only way anyone could contact me is by e-mail.

"Fewer" does not mean "none", however, as I discovered when I turned my head to look out of the study window to see... this sight. Meowing loudly and demanding that I go to the door to let her in so that she could have (the second course of) her breakfast.
