Monday 25 January 2010. I shot this building to commemorate my 7th day of PADing.

A couple of weeks ago. I saw this building, remembered that shot from a couple of years back, and thought... "hang on, that 7 used to be painted red".

And indeed it was. Admittedly with the earlier shot I used selective colour to pluck out the 7 but I didn't change the colour. It's a subtle difference in my surrounding environment but it's the sort of thing that people who don't PAD would probably never notice.

My guess is that the building owners didn't want to get it confused with the 7 television network logo. And I don't blame them, such is my estimation of any of our TV networks but 7 in particular.

In any case I kept the building in the back of my mind to be used on the next available 7th of the month. And here we are.

Overhead the clouds are gathering ahead of yet more rain... which is the last thing that we need at the moment with so much of the state flood-affected.
