Off Austinmer Beach, Illawarra, NSW

It had been raining for most of Saturday and the day started out overcast. However just after sunrise the sun burnt through the cloud cover and gave rise to a hot, humid and sweaty day, the first hint of which we see here.

I like how the sun catches the waves as they splash on the approach to shore. Wouldn't mind some heat after a long winter.

Well it's a lovely start to the day...shame it's all downhill afterwards (I'm not a lover of hot weather) That container ship looks high in the water.
