It is said that there are two things that you should never allow people to see being made; sausages and laws.

Chocolate, on the other hand, falls into the diametrically opposite category. This shopper was not the first nor the only admirer of the chocolatier's craft. And that was saying something on a day like today. When I left work the temperature display by Pyrmont Bay read 27 degrees. And it had been raining all day. I leave what that felt like to your imagination, but it'll be easier if you've been in a sauna recently. Hardly chocolate weather, but the interest and desire remains.

I was a little lucky to get this shot too. Until I can get the Olympus looked at I've been carrying around the old 300D which is much lighter than the 40D. I'd forgotten how frustratingly slow that thing is to use. A technological marvel back when it was released, now you switch it on and can almost hear the steam pistons working to fire it up. As for saving to the card... I lost some shots tonight when it failed to do that before the power cut out for some reason. Hit review, and wait 5 minutes as the "Busy" light flashes. Of course, I'm sure that the 40D will seem like something from the stone age when it's finally replaced too.

I'm going to be off base for Friday and most of the weekend. I'll certainly be late in posting my PADs (like there's anything new in that) and may be late in commenting as well, depending on how much PBase browsing time I get on the weekend (which may not be much). But as long as I get in some shutter time, it's all to the good. I shall catch up with everyone upon my return.
