It's another temperate, sunny day today but aside from a trip for the weekly shopping this morning and a couple of loads of washing, I haven't been outdoors making the most of it.
I'm sure that a bunch of mothers' day outings were advantaged by the weather today. Not really an issue for me because as Private Reiben said in Saving Private Ryan "I bet even the captain had a mother. {Pause.} Well, maybe not the captain, but the rest of us have got mothers." But I'm sure it was appreciated by those who do.
Personally, I spent most of the day indoors working with SQL Server, and though you can't tell from this range, that's what the textbook is about.
