As with a couple of others that I took this evening, on most other days this would have been my PAD Gallery entry. However on this occasion there was another shot, similar to this one, which got the nod ahead of it for reasons that I explain there.

I liked the rich colours in the sky in this one (resulting from sunset colliding with a band of rain-bearing clouds), but preferred the foreground in the other one.
