Late on the afternoon of our first day, storms set in. The residue of that was mist and fog which covered the area until we left the next morning. I had intended to show off a view across the valley to a sandstone cliff which is quite remarkable when seen in the warm morning light. Instead all we could see was a bank of translucent grey.
On the way back, though, the mist imparted a sense of atmosphere to this stand of gum trees.
