A bit of a contingency shot today; being a Tuesday I had very little time to spare and just dashed out of the office during a snatched lunchbreak, camera in hand, when I saw that there was a ship in port. "You'll do", I said to the Silver Shadow (2000, 610ft, 28,258 tons, 18.5 knots).
I liked the way that the bow seems to point to and lead up along the row of terrace buildings in the distance.
We've had some fairly strong winds over the last couple of days which have blown away all the muck leaving the crystal clear skies that you can see here. Thankfully they've been cool winds as well, so the temperatures haven't been your common or garden sweltering December ones.
