Wollongong is, as far as I know, the only place on the east coast which has two lighthouses in close proximity; this one on Flagstaff Hill (completed in 1936), and another at the Wollongong Harbour breakwater (1872).
This shot was taken with the circular polarising filter set to darken the sky and bring out the contrast more strongly. Compare it with 12663 to see the difference.
