Tuesday is Hell Day; weekly reporting, the busiest day of the week. It's made a thousand times worse when you're getting garbage data from the source systems. In the circumstances, this would normally be a welcoming sight.

Well, it would be except that I have no idea how to use the thing and lack the time to read through the 500 page manual.

You know, there are times when I think that I wouldn't mind being a barista. People come in, order their coffee, you make the coffee, and when you're done for the day you're done for the day. No projects which carry on forever, no ongoing system problems...

Probably wouldn't care for the pay, though.

Unless of course I owned the bar and was working for myself, and possibly came up with some kind of "gourmet coffee" marketing campaign to drain ridiculous amounts out of the pockets of overpaid advertising or finance types with each cup.

Then set up new branches of my operation in various places around the city.

Then flogged it off for some absurd amount of money.

Then went back to buying my daily coffees from the proceeds of my ill-gotten gains.

Hmmmm, let me see that manual...
