This was taken on the day of my second trek to photograph Sculpture By The Sea 2010. Oh, sooooo many sculptures, over a hundred sculptures which is why it took two trips, hundreds and hundreds of images, never mind processing them for loading, even just tagging them with metadata so that I can find them again takes forever! No wonder I'm so far behind with things! As of the night of posting this image (the 22nd, over a week later) I've only prepared a handful of second batch images to upload. I'm neeever going to take that many images again until Bridge CS6 lets me tag the sculpture names by telepathy.
But we're here to talk about the PAD. Sunrise had only just occurred as you can doubtless tell from the angle and colour of the light. I was walking along the path above the beach when I saw a couple and their dogs playing fetch in the water. This is probably my favourite of the shots because of the action pose of the woman and the right hand dog against the incoming motion of the water, though it would have been nice if ol' Patch on the left had been a bit more enthused about going in rather than standing behind his owner like that. Still, there's rarely such a thing as the perfect shot.
