This shot was taken looking toward the headland which lies just south of Bondi. It was taken on the day that I shot the Sculpture By The Sea 2010 gallery.

The morning had been heavily overcast until an hour or so after sunrise, when the cloud started to burn off. At that point we started to get bright shafts of sunlight shooting through onto the ocean, as shown here.

Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so. Facebook going out of business would IMO be a net gain for humanity.
