Normally this probably wouldn't be one that I'd include because it's rather less than "optically immaculate"; certainly there's a bit of flare happening. But in this case, that's the point; that's really a pretty good idea of what it looked like this morning. The surf had churned up the water so much that by this time it was like someone had dropped a diffracting veil over the top of the waves and you were getting all sorts of odd optical effects, even with the naked eye.
