Although the surf conditions today weren't quite as dramatic as the forecasts led me to believe they might be, there was still plenty of kinetic energy in the water... as you can clearly see from this shot looking toward Ben Buckler headland.

Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so. Facebook going out of business would IMO be a net gain for humanity.
