This isn't the shot I set out to get, but I liked it more than the ones that I did. While in the park I noticed a pair of (what I believe to be) Rainbow Lorikeets feasting on the freshly sprouted leaves of a tree. In this shot, one of them had flown across to the adjacent tree and had decided to take a moment to soak up the morning sun.

(Although given that it's a 1/1000th of a second exposure, it's possible that I just caught him/her (oh, like you can tell the difference!) blinking. But I like my interpretation better.)
