Today was the first day that was more spring-like than winter-like since the latter season began. When I left for work around 6 this morning the relatively warm air was noticeable. The winds became gusty during the day, but it was never really cool.

Yet most of the flowers behind this fence remain cowering in their prison, save this one which sticks its head through the bars and yells "I smell spring, bring it orrrrn!!!". One of its colleagues in the foreground does sneak a peek out, but the others stay behind.
