The work of the day took longer than anticipated, though I didn't spend all day there; I headed up to the State Library to see the World Press Photo exhibit, plus an exhibition of photographers from the Sydney Morning Herald. What was particularly instructive was the number of them which contain people shots. Quite unlike mine.
I had left the camera at the office. When I came back to collect it I had already missed the actual sunset, but I noticed the full moon over the city skyline. Much as I have some ambivalence about a full moon after May's one (don't ask), I thought that it would make for a useful backdrop. Alas I was running out of time and by the time I grabbed the camera and got back into position it had already risen higher into the sky than I would have liked. Still, there was nothing that I could do about that, and this still didn't turn out too badly.
