As dawn is breaking, so is the surf against the rocks below the Ben Buckler headland.

The large rock has a plaque attached to it which unfortunately I couldn't get a clear enough shot of to read. (It's quite heavily weathered, and old, and curiously I couldn't find anything on the web about it.) From a close in shot (with the 24-105; next time I'll have to use the 70-200) it appears to read:

"Municipality Of Waverley

This (?) weighing (?) tons was washed was washed from the c(?) during a storm on (?) July 1912". The rest, I can't make out.

I thought of cropping out the far headland, but thought I'd leave it in for perspective.

Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so. Facebook going out of business would IMO be a net gain for humanity.
