100312_172302_0037 Already?? (Fri 12 Mar 10)

Coles Supermarket Pyrmont, NSW, Australia

I started this PAD in mid-January. We were essentially still in the Christmas - New Year break season, and it seems like only a week or two back.

It's been a month since I took out membership on SmugMug, and I still haven't copied over most of my galleries. Indeed, I've barely had time to even keep up with my PAD, only being able to post every few days much less take a leisurely stroll through other users' galleries as I like to do.

And now, there are Easter products in the stores. What exactly happened to this year??

I gave the Canons a day off today and made another attempt with my little Olympus point and shoot, partly to keep my hand in with the use of it, partly because supermarkets, even the ones that you're a shareholder of, get a tad narky about you taking photos on the premises and some stealth and discretion is called for. The Olympus didn't do a bad job here, giving me pretty much what I was after.

These Lindt rabbits don't look happy though. But neither would you if you were going to be eaten.

Edit Sep 2023: And nor shall those photos ever be on SmugMug, since that was a failed experiment that lasted but a year. However at the moment I'm preparing all of these images to move to any OTHER platform that I care to, which will initially be Flickr, a platform that I once had no time for. It's run better than PBase, however.

And since it's September when I'm writing this... I'm just waiting for the first Christmas decorations to appear.

What do you mean already? Mini-Easter eggs have been in the shops here
since January. Actually bought some to photograph but they, err, got eaten.
The P&S did a good job here.
