My PAD entry for 19 February (PBase link) featured one of two sculptures named "Giant Digital Origami Tigers" which were designed by LAVA (Laboratory for Visionary Architecture). The sculptures are intended to commemorate the Chinese new year, being the year of the Tiger.
Here we see both of them hiding in the bushes, waiting to pounce. (Well, they would, except that the aluminium skeleton is a little inflexible.)
Old Customs House (constructed 1845) stands in the background.
This shot was taken from the elevated railway platform on the south side of Circular Quay railway station.
