A friend asked me how it is that I always catch such beautiful sunsets. In all honesty, I've seen far more bland sunsets whose light has never touched my film than I have sunsets that moved me to notice them. When the light is right though, I'm there with my camera...
A few years ago I began to seek quiet with my camera in the Minnesota Countryside. At first, it was our many glorious State Parks. But along the way I also began to take notice of just how unique and beautiful the Minnesota farmland truly is - those places far from the interstates and away from the asphalt roads.
My images are scenes that moved me to stop and notice, inspiring me to bring back what I found so that others would know what's out there and hopefully be inspired themselves to go in search of their own time in the Minnesota countryside.
