This was the cruise's starting port. We flew down from Oakland and were met by our daughter Allie and her husband Andrew.
They took us to lunch at a repurposed Naval Training center turned into retail and office space and then took us to the Cruise Ship Terminal at 1530.
To our surprise the ship was just starting loading passengers. The crew and contractors had just spend 4 hours sterilizing the ship after a norovirus outbreak during the prior passage from Hilo to San Diego.,,,
