Sadly there was an accident on board the ferry and the injured man had to be air-lifted to hospital

however, being late leaving meant that we saw the sunset at sea

Arriving in Ireland at just after midnight rather than at 6.30pm meant we couldn't check into a camp site. Fortunately we found a space between two lorries next to this river and spent the night there.

The Lough Ennell caravan and camping site near Mullingar was very peaceful and relaxing
