Shots taken on the departure day. This years public days on both days were cancelled due to the heavy rain which fell in the area on the Friday prior to the show.
The problem was the waterlogged public car parks and the public safety could not be guaranteed, hence the organisers cancelled the show.
Departure day on the Monday saw enclosures open at both the East and west ends of the airfield. The weather was not fantastic but at least it was dry. Lets hope that 2009 takes place.
The British weather caused the cancellation of the show and it's the 1st time in 38 years that the organisers had to cancel.
