In game 3 the BME team faced the strongest opponent yet. Motley’s Crew turned out to be a technically very competent team that did not shy away from physical challenges. Nevertheless, BME drew first blood, when Rubin capitalized on blunder by Motley’s goalkeeper to give BME the lead at the midpoint of the first half. Andreas, who took the place between the post, after being injured by a vicious sliding tackle, saved this lead before the teams switch the sides. In the second half Motley’s Crew increased the pressure and eventually scored the equalizer with 10 minutes to go. In the final minutes of the game both teams missed great opportunities to score the winning goal and eventually settled on an even score.
