The Londoner 2
Meopta Flexaret

Sydney, Australia

Meopta Flexaret TLR, Belar 3.5/75, Ilford Pan F

I went deep into the archives here, for an available light
(in the office) portrait from an old but good TLR of the 1950s.
It is a trifle 'soft' - a result of a wide open lens of modest quality
and a handheld 1/30 or so at a guess for this film rated at 80asa. full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Excellent portrait, like something out of an old movie. BV

BTW they still allow smoking in some offices here in Japan!

Smoking in the office...now it's 4 metres from the nearest doorway...outside. How things have changed from white shirts & thin black ties :>)

Colin I just noticed that this was shot w/ a Checkoslovaq Meopta Flexaret TLR. I have the V and VI and I find them amazing TLRs.

Ah,I remember The Londoner.
Actually,I like the softness ,makes it extra moody.

Yes, it is slightly soft, but 1/30 handheld..that is to slow for me without IS. It is still a very good image, well composed, and looking at it I see that light and shadows are excellent, many fine details here.
