A price list/brochure from May 1969. For many keen young amateurs,
the price (plus filters etc) represented quite a few weeks of gross income.
Only the pros were stepping up for the 2.8 Planars. I am happy with my 3.5 Tessar!
Maintenance costs = $0 Batteries =$0 Film Costs = $Don't Ask.

I'm with Ann. What'd I'd give to be able to get a new 2.8F for under $500 at today's prices!

They were expensive then weren't they. I think we are luckier now.
