Path to The Monument

"Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee,--and then my state
(Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings".

Colin this is another jewel. Is it the M3 with Zeiss glass again? In any case the contrasts of light and shade are expertly captured. The tonal range is to die for. The sepia treatment was made for this kind of scene. I would gladly hang this one.

Ahhhhh, the bard and the birds. Nice mix with a twinge of time and timelessness. Its the shadows and the single leaves that do it for me pathfinder. V
