My (maternal) grandfather, Long Bill Campbell, b.1868.
Champion swimmer in his youth, and renowned birdcall and song whistler!
This photograph probably from about 1910. He died 1922, aged 54.

You seem to have inherited your eyes and cheekbones from this side of the family. He has a a dreamy air to him.

Uff.. very old picture, wonderful you have one of this time. I was swimmer too, but i think that never meet your grandfather in my competition time, hahaha.
