There is something pathological, I'm thinking, about my desire to make monochrome images of
white houses in sunlight. I knew this was worth the effort and unlike other 'hip shots' I took
about 20 minutes to find the right place which would give me foreground and framing. The
perspective was the biggest concern, really, as I wanted to avoid the 'leaning backwards' look
as much as I could. (Naturally, my 4x5 with shift and tilt and 90mm was safely stored at my house!)
I decided to stand on a bench, hold the TLR upside down above my head (yeah! for TLRs) and
use a cable release to help. As it turned out, I think the FP4+ in DD-X did a good job.
I rated at 100, and developed N for 10 mins at 20șC.
