Live Oak Contre-Jour

Hampton Plantation, South Carolina

The Contre-jour elves were tugging at my shirt sleeves again today.
Why do I listen to them ? What's wrong with 'sun over the right shoulder'.

The dynamic range was off the charts. For this sheet, I exposed for the light
shaded grass, and reduced my development by 33% to try and hold some
detail in the sunlight. Not totally successful, but about how it was in
reality - hard to look into the brightest patches.

(Light flare into the wide angle Grandagon at no extra charge.)
