Church Steps-Ziatype 5x7

Charleston SC

Charleston SC.

Paper Test. A ziatype print on Legion Eco 100% cotton rag art paper,
using 15:15 Lithium Palladium and Ferric Oxalate sensitizer, exposed
for 11 minutes to full sun, rinsed, cleared in Citric Acid and washed
for 15 minutes. No warm toner or contrast agent. Legion Eco is
'heavier' than Bergger Cot 320 and has a more textured, fibrous,
surface. However, it responded well to the various wet processes.
The surface of the paper suits this subject. Great value art paper.

This image is contact printed from a 5x7 negative, an enlargement
of the original 35mm negative from my 1959 Hanimex C35 with
Tomioka (Hanimar branded) 1:2,8 ƒ=45mm lens. The 35mm
negative is from Fuji Acros 100 at EI 80. Ilfosol 3 1+14 5'30" at 22.5ºC.
