Thanks, Jean-Luc. I'll answer here, as I have been asked this question twice recently.
Yes, I agree that the Distagon 50mm is a lovely lens. I like this CF FLE version very much. Tripod? Yes, almost always. I rarely make an exposure without a tripod with the Hasselblad for several reasons. I usually shoot with slow film 25/50/100ISO. And I like to use small apertures -at least f16- unless I am looking for limited depth of field. So the speeds are mostly at the 1/2, 1/8, 1/15 etc, and the lens is set for hyperfocal distance. I also pre-release the mirror, and always use a cable release. I use a spot meter for exposure mostly, although the PME51 meter attached is very accurate. I do all this to ensure I get the performance that the designers made possible from the Zeiss lenses. Having said all that, I have certainly used the camera handheld, with 400 ISO film, and speeds at 1/125 and faster, without any problem. But I prefer composition on a tripod, using the full frame, and only making the one exposure. Basically, I point, and shoot (after a little while). :-)

This Distagon 50 is such a wonderfull lens! Do you work on a tripod? and at what aperture?
