Best viewed in Original size.

These leaves, under another tree, were lighter green at the top and progressively
darker below. And they were more than one stop darker at each level. Placing the
top most front leaf at a zone two stops above the average reading gave me the
opportunity to get some detail in the lowest (darkest) leaves.

In the prevailing light, the depth of field was just at three inches (75mm) but
this did not impact the attempt at separating and exposing the range of tones..

Hasselblad 503CW, Zeiss Sonnar CF 1:4.0 f=150mm +16 Ext, Fuji Acros 100 BW

Exposed at EI80. Developed in Ilford DD-X 1:4 for 9'45" @ 20c. No filter used. full exif
