Old wooden shingle is hard to find. Up north and on the westcoast we have old houses like this. A lot of character in these one. Clearly need some work. I like #2 also.

Lovely shot Colin; I am taken by the perceptual layers. My eye is first drawn to the single pane of glass, then the asymmetry of out-of-kilter outer sash, and finally the contrast of board and shingle. Well seen and executed.
