This painting on glass at the Puppet museum depicts the Bharatayuda war between good, represented by the Pandawa clan and evil, represented by the Kurawa clan. This is towards the climax of the war where Arjuna of Pandawa "duelled" using various magic weapons with Karna, who actually a step brother of Arjuna but both didn't know that. Karna supported the Kurawa clan who adopted him as equal while the Pandawa clan always looked down on him. This Hindu legend originated in India but it underwent quite a bit of modification and the Indonesian version adds more Indonesian characteristics over many generations in this country.
