If pressure switch fails to turn off diaphragm pump at 45 psi this pressure relief valve will open (at about 60 psig) draining the tank and preventing pressure from exceeding 65 psig.
Vertical white cylinders are pressure vessels housing RO membrane cartridges. Note John Guest fittings.
