My pictures from a day trip to Gruyeres. Great Chateau, great cheese, great Fondue. I did a skydive over the town and srrounding country side, it was cloudy, and the videographer I hired forgot to turn her camera on!!! Merci to Fred and the French skydivers who took me out and drove me back to Geneva.

I just found these pictures. We too feel exactly the same way about Gruyere.. what an idyllic place. We spent the night in this charming village and of course had fondue.. bought the pot and have re-created that meal many times.. never quite the same flavor, however!! It is definitely one of the most beautiful places on earth.. so quaint, charming and simply perfect.

One of the most beautiful areas in the world! I found this by 'accident' while staying in Zurich for 3 weeks while my husband was on a work assignment. Loved it so much, I returned three times. It was breathtaking, every step around every corner! I have a postcard from Gruyere at my desk for my 'happy place' and would love to be there right now.
