Resurrection

Selaginella erythropus, also called a "resurrection" plant,
is a highly adapted African club moss that shrivels up
when there is no water and "resurrects" when wet.
The backs of the "fronds" turn red during winter.

Does it grow in your 'desert' areas or anywhere? - good photo -- and a most unusual plant.
