Honu Food

The seaweed (limu) on the rocks is part of the honu diet.
At high tide the rocks are covered by water
and the turtles come in to graze on the limu.

Thanks for the education, Pam. I have a similar shot in my Lovers Key State Park gallery.
The lead image I found out recently to be a scurge of the turtle eggs at the park seasonally.
A second look at the former image has me wish I had shot it with a higher aperature setting
to have improved its focus and clarity.
