Pam, I had another look and I think I find the background distracting. I would take out the green on the lefthand side and make it black.

I'll go with uneven lighting as well though I don't think it's as sharp as yours usually are

The flower IS gorgeous and sharp!

The only reason I can figure out that you rejected it was due to the uneven lighting..bright on one side, dark on the other. The flower itself is clear and sharp.
