Eye Contact

Honolulu Zoo, Hawaii

Not a particularly good photo, but it is one I will never forget.
Rusty saw me across the enclosure and walked towards me
while keeping direct eye contact.
There was a moment of connection that was unnerving!

This Orang Utan is a shy species. Your timing for the eye-contact is really good. Great catch!

He should have come closer to the glass. He still kept his distance. I didn't know you got this one.
