Ringed-neck parakeet - Psittacula krameri

The Asian ring-necked parakeet has established breeding
colonies, on the island of O'ahu, and are frequently
seen (and heard) in and around Honolulu. This "visitor"
and his friends were observed at Foster Botanical Gardens
snacking on shower tree seedpods.

Another interesting bird.. This is a pretty one. The 18-200 did a fine job, by the way. I still say its a great lens
