Hawaiian Style 4th of July

An annual event, on the Windward side of the island of O'ahu, in Kailua, is the 4th of July fireworks display from flat island in the middle of Kailua Bay. This year we avoided the thousands of people on Kailua Beach and viewed the fireworks from the other side of the bay at Kaneohe Marine Base. After the first 10 minutes of fireworks there was a long delay... and then the rain came!
