Barn Swallow

I've been shooting on the North side of the pond, facing south, and as a result all these shots are back lit. I ventured to the South side of the pond today, faced north, and saw that the light was more favorable. The problem is that there are very few swallow feeding on the South shore..

15Jun09 - received Sidekick from bhphoto.com, read instructions, tried it out. Two or three shots ok.
17Jun09 - Second day at Sugar House Park w Sidekick, maybe 5 okay shots of swallow chasing food.
19Jun09 - Third day at Sugar House Park w Sidekick, maybe 12 okay shots of the swallow. Who knew
the barn swallow had such a fantastic tail: early shots made it look like a tuning fork.

They're very small targets and they move very fast. Not a video game player, my "hand-eye
coordination" isn't what it needs to be. That said, I've got some recognizable captures here.
