Watching for coyotes I heard the hawk's call. I looked around,
but didn't see it. It then whistled right over the trees around
me. I figured it was gone. I resumed watching for coyotes. Ten
minutes later, a big shadow passed over the ground. This character
was looping over head, working its way West. My first decent raptor
shots: jitters..
