Thermal inversion in SLC (30 degrees in the valley, 50 degrees in the mountains)
We've got a high parked over us that keeps storms away. No new snow. But what
we've got was fine today. Clear skies, warm, not too crowded. Rode Great Western.
Rode it until mechanical problems at the top shut the lift down for the day. A
few of these shots were taken while stuck on the lift for 20 minutes.. A good day
to hang at Brighton..
Nice shots, Andy. Looks like the area is in real need of some new snow. I'll be skiing Solitude on Tuesday (1/20) and Brighton Wednesday (1/21). Thanks for the preview. Was the date you were there the 18th, maybe?
