After walking the 75 mile Capital Ring aound London, the 150 mile London Loop and the 300 mile Extreme London circuit, we needed a slightly diferent approach. A yet wider continuous circle around London is not practical using public transport, not least because of distance between railway lines as they fan out from London. Rings around London therefore will comprise mainly circular walks from bases in the vicinity of our Extreme London walking. It started in Kent in May 2008 and will progress clockwise, coming closer to London on the shortest days of winter.
